Reconstruction of an alleged Kajipogo sighting
Kajipogo (derived from the Kaji River and the North American cryptid Ogopogo) is an aquatic cryptid that was said to have appeared in Japan in 2014 or 2015.
Kajipogo was spotted from the Sakura Ohashi Bridge in Shibata, Niigata, Japan. According to the witness, at dusk, a two-meter triangular dorsal fin was seen emerging from the water on the downstream side of the Kaji River.
Witnesses imagined the cryptid to be an eel-like creature with a huge dorsal fin. On the other hand, he said that he had been fond of cryptids since his childhood, adding that this sighting may therefore contain preconceived notions.
